This policy explains what Free Budget Sheet ("we", "us") collects when you use freebudgetsheet.com, why, and what you can do about it. We keep it short and plain.
What we collect
- Your email address and, if you choose to give it, your first name, when you sign up for the free spreadsheet.
- The page you signed up from (the referring URL, which can include tags like which video sent you), so we know which videos help people.
- Purchase details if you buy something: your email and what you bought. Card details are entered on our payment provider's page and never reach our servers.
Why we use it
- To deliver the spreadsheet you asked for.
- To send you emails about budgeting and about our products.
- To deliver anything you buy and help you if something goes wrong.
Who processes it for us
- Kit (kit.com) stores our email list and sends our emails.
- Our checkout provider (currently Stripe) processes payments.
- Our hosting provider (Railway) runs this website and stores the files you download.
We do not sell your personal information.
Emails and unsubscribing
Every email we send has an unsubscribe link. Click it and you're off the list.
Cookies
- gob_email (strictly necessary): after you sign up, we set a short-lived, signed cookie holding your email so the checkout page can be prefilled if you choose to buy. It expires after 2 hours and is never readable by scripts.
- We don't use advertising or tracking cookies.
Deleting your data
Want your information deleted or want a copy of what we hold? Email parker@freebudgetsheet.com and we'll take care of it.
Children
This site is not directed at children under 13, and we don't knowingly collect their information.
Changes
If we change this policy, we'll update the date at the top of this page.
